Monthly Surf Course in Barcelona

How it works

• Pick a plan: 1 or 2 days a week. From €80 a month with your own gear; with board and wetsuit, €95 (1 day) or €150 (2 days). The first month, board and wetsuit are on us. No joining fee, no commitment.
• Pay here by card. Your fee renews by itself every month, on the same day you joined.
• Book your classes in the app with the same email. That’s also where the photos of every class arrive.
• Your plan gives you classes per week: 1 class a week on the 1-day plan, 2 on the 2-day plan. The week runs Monday to Sunday.
• Each week you choose when: any of the fixed classes (surf on Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 and 12:00 and Monday to Friday at 9:30 and 13:30; surfskate Monday to Friday at 19:00) or any other group class we schedule when the forecast plays along. For example: this week, Saturday at 9:00; next week, Wednesday at 13:30. If you skip a week, that class doesn’t carry over.
• What if there are no waves? We let you know as soon as we confirm them and, at the latest, the evening before at 18:00 (details just below).
• 1 h 30 in the water. Maximum 8 per instructor. You need to be able to swim. Accident insurance included.
• Bring swimwear, a towel, flip-flops and water. Afterwards, a shower at the club.
• To leave, one button in the app. You keep going until the end of the month you’ve paid for and you’re not charged for the next one.

What if there are no waves?

We let you know as soon as we confirm the waves and, at the latest, the evening before at 18:00 we tell you the plan.

• Waves at Barceloneta: surf.
• Waves on another beach: we go and find them. We leave from the club by van (€5, limited seats, add it when you book) or you make your own way there.
• No waves anywhere on the coast: surfskate, technique or surf-specific training, and it counts the same.

One surf class, any day you like, with board and wetsuit. If we head to another beach that day, the van is €5 extra. One trial per person. If there are no waves that day, it doesn’t count as your trial.

Timetable

Surf: Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 and 12:00, and Monday to Friday at 9:30 and 13:30. Surfskate: Monday to Friday at 19:00. Until 28 March.

And when the forecast plays along, we schedule extra group classes at other times. With the course you can come to any of them: the fixed ones and the ones we schedule.

Customise your plan

Adapt the plan to what you need:

• Base: classes only, if you have your own gear.
• + Board or wetsuit: includes one of the two.
• + Board and wetsuit: includes both.

The first month, board and wetsuit are on us: you pay the base plan price. The van, when we go to another beach, is €5 per class; if you make your own way, no problem.

Showers and spa

After class you can shower at Claror Marítim, in our own building, while the club is open. And some days, mostly in winter, if the instructor can go in with the group, 45 minutes of spa: warm pool with waterfalls, jacuzzi, cold pool, dry sauna, Mediterranean sauna, steam bath, sensation showers and ice fountain. For course students it’s €5 (€7 for a one-off class). It’s not on the timetable: the instructor tells you at the end of class.

Benefits of joining the club

• You surf all year: if the waves are on another beach, we go and find them.
• You don’t lose your week: you switch day, or activity (surfskate, surf-specific functional training or paddle).
• A fixed class every day until 28 March, and extra group classes when the forecast is good.
• Shower at the club and, some days, spa for €5.
• Discounts on surf trips, surf shops and gear.
• If you’re buying a board, we help you choose it.
• Groups of up to 8 per instructor, qualified instructors and good vibes.
• Bring someone along. For every friend who signs up, €15 off your fee. We take it off once they pay their second month.

Your classes, clear and with no surprises

• Your plan gives you a number of classes per week, Monday to Sunday.
• Your week resets every Monday. Classes you don’t use don’t roll over.
• If you join mid-week, that week counts in full.
• Your month runs from date to date (for example, the 12th to the 12th), not by calendar month.

It works like a club or gym membership. With a fixed class every day and the option to switch activity, it’s very hard to lose a week.

When we go to find waves on another beach

If the best waves are outside Barceloneta, we move. We leave from the club by van: €5 per class, limited seats, first come, first served (add it when you book in the app). You can also make your own way: the app tells you where. And since on the course you always see the same faces, it’s easy to sort out a car share. Many days there are waves right in front of the club and there’s no need to move.

What should you bring?

• Swimwear, towel, flip-flops and a bottle of water.
• The urge to push yourself and surf life.

Frequently asked questions

Subscription terms

• It renews by itself every month, on the same day you joined.
• You can cancel whenever you like from the app. You keep going until the end of the month you’ve paid for and you’re not charged for the next one.
• Classes run by the week, Monday to Sunday, and don’t roll over. If you join mid-week, that week counts in full.
• You have 14 days to withdraw. We refund what you paid, minus the part for the classes you’ve already had.
• Your price doesn’t go up as long as you stay subscribed without a break. If we ever raise our fees, it only affects new sign-ups.
• Injured or going away? You can pause one month a year from the app, from your second month on. That month you’re not charged and you can’t book, and then it starts again by itself at the same price.
